Increase in Imports and Exports
We can say that the increase in imports and exports has improved and explain this increase with the following figures. In June, exports increased by 49.9% to $19.7 billion and imports increased by 38.72 to $22.6 billion.6-Month exports increased by 39.8% to $104.9 billion.
Turkish Statistical Institute announced the foreign trade data for June as follows. In June, imports rose 38.7 percent to $22 billion 628 million, up 46.9 percent from the same month the previous year, according to the statement. The foreign trade deficit decreased to 2 billion 353 million dollars from 2 billion 358 million dollars in June 2020.
Exports increased by 29.8 percent to $104 billion 945 million and imports increased by 27.4 percent to $126 billion 111 million in January-June 2021 compared to the same period of 2020.The 6-month foreign trade deficit fell 11.4 percent to $21 billion 166 million.
